LOCAL ACCOMMODATION

Duck Bay
Located next door to Cameron House, Duck Bay is a well-known local haunt and eatery.
A more simple offering, and likely to book up quickly. For those wishing to stay here, book early to avoid disappointment.
Depending on numbers, on the wedding day, we will run shuttles to and from the above local hotels and, if helpful, from a Glasgow location.
LET US KNOW
We’re grateful for any indications of travel and accommodation plans you’re able to share with us; even provisionally.
That will allow us to plan other recreational activities, particularly on Friday 17 July. If we have a critical mass, and sufficient interest, there’s a range of activities that might be fun:
Boat ride on the loch
Visit to nearby places of interest
Golf challenge
Mock highland games
Further information will follow in early 2026 along with a more formal invitation.
FAQ
If you have a question that isn’t answered below, please email annaandstewartwedding @ gmail.com
Can I bring my children?
We appreciate that some of you will only be able to attend if the kids come too, and we’d be delighted to accommodate and get to know your children. That said, the main event might be a bit of a bore for young folk: ceremony (yawn); dinner (yawn); Ceilidh (what?); DJ with 70s and 80s music (I’m outta here).
Let us know if you’d like to bring the kids and we can work with the hotel to ensure they are entertained. We can also put you in touch with local childminders should that be helpful for the young ones.
Can I bring a plus 1 ?
“You’re the one that we want – ooh…ooh…ooh”. But if you’ve met a significant other since Anna or Stewart last saw you, then of course they would be most welcome.
Do you have a gift registry?
At our time in life, we have “stuff”. So no gift expected.
One idea though. We plan to set up an order facility with Hedonism Wines. If you were minded to, you could buy us one bottle of wine. It would give us great pleasure to drink it at some time in the future and think of you. Indeed, if possible, we might even be able to enjoy it together with you. That would be fun.
More details to follow.
Do I need any paperwork to visit Scotland?
Some nationalities will need an ETA. Please see https://www.gov.uk/eta
